Our schools programme will be operating an award scheme and players will receive an end of term report and on completion of each level a certificate. Lessons are structured and designed with activities that lead them to play the game. All groups will play fun, simple team competitions that are appropriate to their level of skill.
We are currently offering taster sessions in local schools where we take a P.E. session during class time for children in key stage 1 and 2.
School Clubs
We have set up after school clubs in local schools, these are usually indoors in the school hall for children up to 8 yrs old. We will be looking to have an inter schools tennis tournament and also talent I.D. sessions. We hope to invite our keener young players to sessions at Elstree LTC where we hope to develop a top class junior tennis section.
Breakfast Clubs are now operating in some of our schools and proving very popular, these are typically 40 min sessions before the school day starts.
Older children who are interested in playing tennis can join us at Elstree LTC or Ravens LTC for lessons on full courts.
